JUST SO YOU KNOW, tumblrverse, Ian and I have ended our relationship. We’re kids. I’m 20, he’s 24. And even though he’s much more of an adult than I am, we’re both still kids. We have a lot of ourselves left to find. We worked on us for months when I was 15 and he was 19, we worked on it when I was 17 and he was 21, and we worked on it most seriously this past year at 19/20 and 23/24. It’s been over a year. We’ve lived together since August. And as much as my heart is broken (because it absolutely is) I hesitate to say that this is the end of Ian&Alexis forever. No matter what happens, though, in the end… it will be the best and most right thing for all parties involved. I just wanted to make this little shout out for my very intrigued (and intriguing!) little group of haters out there. Go ahead and e-stalk the shit out of me/us. Go ahead and speculate. Go ahead and collect your winnings from the bets you made. Go ahead… please, I invite you. I challenge you to. Because at the end of the day, I won. We won. Because the old saying rings true, “It is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all.” If you’re someone mean enough to have been watching and waiting (and I know some have been), I can say with 10000000% certainty that you’ve never ever in your wildest dreams had even the slightest taste of the kind of love we’ve shared in over five years of just knowing each other.
